Houston Mesa Campground is located one mile north of Payson. This campground is located next to a half mile self-guided interpretive trail. Campsites at Houston Mesa are basic, with no hookups available. Sites include picnic tables, fire rings, barbecue grills, drinking water and flush toilets. Shower facilities and a dump station are available for a fee.
