Canyon Lake is one of the four lakes created from Arizona's Salt River Project. Though it's the smallest of the four lakes, Canyon Lake is an outdoor playground for the water sports enthusiast, offering picture-perfect scenery. Tortilla Campground features 77 campsites and is open from October 15th through April 30th. Services and amenities within the campground include flushable toilets, boat launch, dump station and picnic tables. Leashed pets are welcome and reservations are accepted. Tortilla Campground is within walking distance to the town of Tortilla Flats. This small town has a saloon, post office and gift shop. Campground activities include hiking, swimming and boating. Canyon Lake Marina and Campground is a full-service campsite offering 22 RV sites with water and electrical hookups, 6 RV sites without hookups, and 19 tent sites. Amenities include showers, picnic tables, grills and an on-site restaurant. Leashed pets are welcome. Plenty of activities are available at the campsite including swimming at the campsite's beach, jet skiing, water skiing and hiking. Boat rentals are available at the marina. Safety is a priority--the entire premises is lighted at night and patrolled by the nearby sheriff's office. Reservations are accepted.

With only three campsites and no reservations accepted, The Point Campground can be a tough campground to get a spot bit its location on Upper Canyon Lake is ideal for enjoying the scenery. The steep, rainbow-colored rock formations are a perfect background for a picturesque Arizona sunset. Amenities include restrooms, grills and picnic tables. No RV hookups are available. Plenty of outdoor activities are available including fishing, hiking, biking and sunbathing. This campground can be contacted via the Mesa Ranger Station.
