Lefleur's Bluff is an RV campground located just to the north of downtown Jackson. The park is contained within Lefleur's Bluff State Park, a 300-acre park complete with camping, fishing and other outdoor recreation. Lefleur's Bluff Campground has RV and tent sites with electric hookups. Amenities include picnic tables, fire pits, cable TV, a playground and a dump station. Pets are allowed.

Timberlake Campground is situated on the shores of Ross R. Barnett Reservoir, a 14-mile drive northeast of Jackson. This RV campground has a variety of sites, ranging from primitive sites to waterside sites with full hookups. Swinging Bridge RV Park is located 10 miles southwest of Jackson in Byram, Mississippi. Byram is home to Pelahatchie State Park on Pelahatchie Bay.
