Stone Mountain Park is one of the natural wonders in Georgia that you must see before you die, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The park is 3,200 acres and is located just 15 minutes from downtown Atlanta. Home to one of the world’s largest pieces of exposed granite, the park is well-known for having the largest bas-relief in the world – Stone Mountain’s Memorial Carving depicting Confederates Jefferson Davis, Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee. The park also donates complimentary park passes to organizations. (See References 1 and 2)
Request a donation from the park. Stone Mountain Park reports that their normal donation is two One-Day All Attraction passes. They permit two people to visit all Park attractions. The passes are valid for one full day and expire at the end of the current calendar year.
