Contact Priceline for same-day cancellations by e-mail or phone (800-774-2354). An instant cancellation is usually available (despite other rules) if it's done by 11:30 p.m. Eastern the same day the travel was booked.
Find all the rules and regulations associated with the travel purchased if it is too late for the same-day request. If you have a Priceline account, sign in with the email address used, or go to "check your request" (on the top right of the home page) and enter the request number and email address used for the Priceline offer made.
Read the "Ticket Changes and Cancellations" for all the information for the particular request. Check it carefully to see whether Priceline has any refund options that would apply. If the ticket is refundable (with or without a fee), you must request the refund at least one hour before check-in or departure.
Consider changing your plans. If a refund is not available, ask about changing to another date (have alternate dates available before making the phone call or sending an email).
Call Priceline customer service and try pleading your case politely. If that does not work, attempt the same with the airline, hotel or car-rental companies. Sometimes a sympathetic person is available who will at least give a credit if the reason for cancellation is valid.
