Flatiron Crossing Mall in Broomfield, Colorado, is a shopping destination for visitors to the Rocky Mountains. The shopping mall is designed much like a ski lodge with hardwood floors, stone pillars and wood rafters on the ceilings. Much of the mall is enclosed but a small section, called "The Village," provides a pedestrian-only, open-air shopping experience. The Village has an ice skating rink in the winter and a year-round outdoor fireplace, surrounded by several cafes. The mall is anchored by Macy's, Nordstrom and Dillard's, and includes a variety of stores, such as Apple, Old Navy and Borders, and a 14-screen theater. Bloom is an upscale restaurant that serves a seasonally changing menu that focuses on new American cuisine. The menu includes entrees, salads, sandwiches and an extensive wine list. Entrees include barbecue pork tenderloin, pan seared salmon and cheeseburger sliders. Bloom has indoor and outdoor seating and a private dining room on its second floor that can seat up to 60 people. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner and also has a daily happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m.
