Ft. Lauderdale Nightclubs

Situated 23 miles north of Miami, Florida, Ft. Lauderdale is a well-known tourist destination located near the Atlantic coastline. Featuring attractions like the Ft. Lauderdale Museum of Art and the 35-acre Bonnet Garden, this city is also known for its active nightclub scene. Area nightclubs offer young people modern sound systems that pound out loud dance music almost every night of the week, along with special events such as Ladies' Night on weekends.

  1. The VooDoo Lounge

    • Opened to the public in March of 2000, The VooDoo Lounge is housed in the same building that was once occupied by the Independence Brewery. This Ft. Lauderdale nightclub is equipped with more than 10,000 square feet of floor space and includes a large VIP lounge area, an outside patio outfitted with its own sound system and an expansive dance floor. An event called Stereo Love is held every Thursday night, and ladies can drink free at this special event all night long. On Facebook Fridays, all ladies are admitted for free until midnight, and they also drink free until 11 p.m.

    • Calling itself a nightclub "megaplex," the Living Room nightclub features computer-modulated images throughout the venue as well as an outdoor Zen meditation garden near the front entrance. A powerful sound system designed by the Dynacord Corporation sends out the loud music throughout the club. A waterfront view is featured in the Meditation room. An event known as Event Fridays features special dance music hosted by DJ Pride in the Gate Room, and DJ Eran Hersh hosts Sho Saturdays, which offers guests loud music accompanied by computer-projected visuals in the Opal Room.

    Exit 66

    • Containing six different club rooms outfitted with their own one-of-a-kind color schemes and music systems, Exit 66 is a Ft. Lauderdale nightclub that also features huge disco balls hanging from the ceiling as well as plush leather furniture. An outdoor pool adjacent to the club is open during the hotter summer months, and patrons can enjoy their drinks poolside when this section is open. Three separate dance floors are available in the main room, and leather seats/coffee tables are offered for guests who had rather relax near the dance floor than dance all night.
