The Perdido Key State Recreation Area is a place where you can enjoy outdoor recreation, such as swimming and sunbathing on white sand beaches. You can also enjoy wildlife viewing, surf fishing, walking on the boardwalk and picnicking in an area overlooking the beach. The park provides public showers for visitors.
Perdido Key State Recreation Area is open from 8 a.m. until sundown every day of the year. An admission fee is charged to enter the park.

Big Lagoon State Park is comprised of 655 upland acres od saltwater marshes to pine flatwoods. You can enjoy activities in the park such as camping, swimming, fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking and crabbing. Other activities include picnicking, attending special event in the amphitheater, keeping warm by the fire circle, wildlife viewing and experiencing guided walks, campfire programs and recreational skills programs. The pet-friendly park provides picnic tables, public showers and boat ramps.
Big Lagoon State Park is open from 8 a.m. until sundown every day of the year. An admission fee is charged to enter the park as well as a fee for use of some of the park's facilities.

Visit the Historic Pensacola Village which is comprised of T.T. Wentworth, Jr. Florida State Museum, the Pensacola Historical Museum and the Arcadia Mill Archaeological Site. You can take guided tours of the village's historic homes and buildings, walk on an elevated boardwalk through the remains of the mills or take a 45-minute walking tour of the Pensacola Historic District and Barkley House. The village also features a hands-on exhibit for children ages four to eight at the T.T. Wentworth, Jr. Florida State Museum.
Historic Pensacola Village is open Tuesdays through Saturdays and admission fees apply.
