    Big Lagoon State Park

    • Big Lagoon State Park is comprised of 655 upland acres od saltwater marshes to pine flatwoods. You can enjoy activities in the park such as camping, swimming, fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking and crabbing. Other activities include picnicking, attending special event in the amphitheater, keeping warm by the fire circle, wildlife viewing and experiencing guided walks, campfire programs and recreational skills programs. The pet-friendly park provides picnic tables, public showers and boat ramps.

      Big Lagoon State Park is open from 8 a.m. until sundown every day of the year. An admission fee is charged to enter the park as well as a fee for use of some of the park's facilities.

    Historic Pensacola Village

    • Visit the Historic Pensacola Village which is comprised of T.T. Wentworth, Jr. Florida State Museum, the Pensacola Historical Museum and the Arcadia Mill Archaeological Site. You can take guided tours of the village's historic homes and buildings, walk on an elevated boardwalk through the remains of the mills or take a 45-minute walking tour of the Pensacola Historic District and Barkley House. The village also features a hands-on exhibit for children ages four to eight at the T.T. Wentworth, Jr. Florida State Museum.
