Camping at Long Key State Park in Florida

Midway between the dive trips of Key Largo and the famed sunsets of Key West, Long Key State Park has beachfront camping that caters to RV and tent campers alike.

  1. Campsites

    • The campground has all beachfront campsites. Campsites have vegetation separating them from one another. The state park system permits leashed pets at the camp sites, although pets cannot go on the beach. Each campsite has water, electricity, a picnic table and a grill.

    RV Camping

    • Long Key State Park can accommodate RVs up to 45 feet long. In addition to the water and electrical hookups at each campsite, the park has a centrally-located dump station.

    Tent Camping

    • Tent campers camp in the same area as RV campers and enjoy the same amenities. Tent campers pay the same nightly rate as RV campers ($36 in 2010.)

    Campground Amenities

    • The park has hot showers and three restrooms for campers as well as day users. The park has two hiking trails and one canoe trail. Fishermen, snorkelers and swimmers all frequent the park. The park has canoe rentals on-site.
