Singer Island is located off of Palm Beach's coast between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. It was developed in 1906 by Paris Eugene Singer, son of famous sewing machine tycoon, Isaac Singer. The area boasts local attractions such as McCarthy's Wildlife Sanctuary and numerous casual, waterfront restaurants that offer seafood-inspired dishes, steaks and sandwiches.
The Islander Grill and Tiki Bar, located within the Palm Beach Shores Resort in South Singer Island, Florida, is available to the public during normal business hours. The restaurant features a casual, tropically decorated indoor dining room and outdoor patio dining and bar area. Lunch and dinner menu selections include jumbo lump crab cakes, fresh fruit salad served with prosciutto and cottage cheese, blackened mahi-mahi sandwiches and 1/2 pound charbroiled hamburgers. Additional menu selections include honey-lime salmon, baby back ribs, 12-ounce New York strip steak and lobster ravioli. The Islander Grill and Tiki Bar also hosts private cocktail and dinner parties and beachside weddings.

Johnny Longboats Tropical Grill on the Beach offers home-style dishes in its casual, beachfront dining room. The restaurant's appetizer selections include crab-stuffed mushrooms, artichoke and spinach dip, conch chowder and Buffalo chicken wings. Sandwich selections include a foot-long hot dog, beef fajita wrap, Caribbean-style chicken breast sandwich and Cuban sandwich. Entree selections include mixed seafood Alfredo, fried oysters, fish and chips, double-cut pork chops and house-made meatloaf. Sailfish Marina Restaurant is located within the Sailfish Marina Resort, which is in Palm Beach Shores on Singer Island. The restaurant offers a casual, wood-accented indoor dining room and airy, outdoor deck dining area. Breakfast menu selections include crab and cheese omelets, freshly baked muffins, blueberry pancakes and biscuits with sausage gravy. Lunch menu items include oysters Casino, albacore tuna melts, grilled scallop salads and fried soft-shell crab sandwiches. Sailfish's dinner menu features pistachio-encrusted sea scallops, watercress and spinach salads, grilled swordfish, sesame-seared filet of tuna and shrimp scampi. The restaurant also hosts a weekend breakfast buffet as of September 2010.
