Lindstrom, a tiny town in eastern Minnesota near St. Paul and Minneapolis, has a population of 3,015. Swedish immigrants settled Lindstrom and it carries the nickname of "American's little Sweden." Tourists come each year to take part in events such as Karl-Oskar Days and other festivals celebrating the town's cultural heritage.

Flickabirds Resort is just 30 minutes outside of Lindstrom in nearby Rush City on East Rush Lake.
