Waterville is a small city located in southern Minnesota. Mall of America, one of the largest malls in the United States, is only an hour away.     • Best Point Resort is owned by Linda and Jerry Miller and is about 65 miles from Minneapolis. It is open May 1 through October 1. This resort is located on Lake Tetonka, which has an abundance of large fish and is great for fishing. Guests can rent paddleboats, pontoons or fishing boats and enjoy a day on the lake. Lodging consists of cabins and two-bedroom houses. Nevertheless, visitors can bring their RV, Camper or motor home and camp out at the resort. Best Point Resort has the only gas station on the lake. It also has a store that sells items, such as pop, candy, sandwiches and beer.

    Lakeview Resort

    • Lakeview Resort is located on Lake Sakata and is open from May to October. This resort has four cabins that accommodate up to seven people each. Inside the cabins visitors will find air conditioning, cable television, a microwave and hide-a-beds. The back of each cabin has an attached deck where guests can enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. Outdoors there are several play areas for the children and picnic tables where they can enjoy an outdoor meal. This resort has other amenities, including video games, pool tables and a laundry facility.

    • Sakatah Bay Resort Motel is located on Lake Sakatah and is open year-round and it offers rooms and two-bedroom suites. All rooms have refrigerators, microwaves and gorgeous views of the lake.
