Lakewood Lodge is a year-round Minnesota family resort with awesome fishing. On the south side of Sand Lake, the resort offers many activities. Fourteen cabins with up to four bedrooms and fully equipped kitchens are available for rent. Kids have a swimming beach with water toys, playground and craft activities. A fish fry potluck and fishing guide seminars are organized weekly.

Sand Lake Lodge is a 17-acre resort in the heart of Chippewa Forest. For over 50 years the resort has nestled along the shoreline of Sand Lake. The lodge is only open from May 15 to Oct, 30 for reservations. Five cabins with equipped kitchens and some with living rooms are available. Two docks and a harbor help launch and protect your boat. Canoes and kayaks are free rentals with your stay. Boats with motors are available for rent. Activities include biking, swimming, volleyball and hiking.

Driftwood Resort is in Chippewa National Forest on the northwest shore of Sand Lake. Six two-bedroom cabins with fully equipped kitchens are available for reservations. The cabins are just a few yards from the lake and backed by ten acres of forest.
Bait and a fish cleaning house are offered. All you need to bring is your fishing pole on the boat provided. Other activities include a sandy beach, playground with swings, a slide and climbing area. The lodge offers a large selection of treats and groceries. You can participate during the week at the marshmallow roast, pot luck supper and the local area nature center.
