Restaurants in Judiciary Square, DC Area

Judiciary Square is a residential and commercial district located north of Pennsylvania Avenue in downtown Washington, D.C. Located adjacent to the city center, the square gets its name from the old Washington D.C. City Hall (and courthouse) constructed in the neighborhood in 1820. Several other courthouses have been constructed in the region throughout the last century. Several retail shops and restaurants are located in and around the square.

    Clyde's of Gallery Place

    • Clyde's of Gallery Place is located 10 minutes west of Judiciary Square by foot. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner daily and serves a late menu until 3 a.m. Saturday morning. A weekend brunch is also offered in the restaurants intimate dining room which is adorned by stained glass chandeliers and impressionist paintings. Entrees span an international array of cuisine from Moroccan spiced lamb with apricot saffron rice to steamed Maine lobster with french fries and cole sale.
