Tennessee ATV Vacations

The state of Tennessee offers ATV locations that come complete with camping, RV and cabin sites for lodging to make your trip into a full vacation. Some sites also offer other activities, restaurants and amenities for non-riding visitors and those who want to take a break from the trails.

  1. Ride Royal Blue ATV Guest Resort and Campground

    • ATV riders at Royal Blue have access to 430 miles covering 130,000 acres of ATV trails. Located in the Cumberland Mountains, trails include everything from mountain terrain to creek paths. Overnight guests can choose to stay in one of the resort's cabins, or rent a tent or RV site. Cabins start around $150 per night; tent sites start around $30 per night; and RV sites start around $40 per night. When ATV riders want to take a break from the trails, there is a restaurant on site, a pro shop and a general store. Non-ATV visitors can also enjoy hiking, mountain biking and fishing in the area.

    Coal Creek Off Highway Vehicle Area

    • This ATV park has trails ranging from rocky gravel to muddy mountain terrain, with more than 160 miles of land. ATVs can be rented on site. Daily permits are $17 for adults and $8 for children under 12. The Windrock Park campground is located near the trailhead for the closest lodging, with nightly rates starting around $16 for tent sites, $38 for RV sites, and $100 for a cabin that sleeps 4.     Callalantee ATV and Campground

    • Race against another guest in Callalantee's 400-foot arena.

      ATV riders can take advantage of 130 miles of wide, safe trails at Callalantee. Daily riding rates are $11 for children and adults, and night riding is available. For those staying overnight, the two-bedroom cabins are $100 per night, camping sites without hook-ups are $11 and with hook-ups are $15. Known for its many annual events, guests can enter various ATV runs throughout the year. This park also offers a 400-foot arena for ATV racing. All prices are current as of August 2010.

    Wheelin' In the Country

    • Camping is free at this location if you don't require an RV hook-up.

      Wheelin' In the Country visitors can take advantage of more than 700 acres of varying ATV trails, including ponds, muddy areas and a rock garden. Camping without a hook-up is free at this park, and sites with RV hook-ups cost $25. Cabin rentals range from $50 to $100, depending on the number of guests. Riding permits are $15 for riders and passengers. All prices are current as of August 2010.
