Chris-town Travel Trailer Park is near the Encanto Lagoon, making this park ideal for those who love lakes, and the swimming and fishing that go with them. A golf course is also available at Encanto, and the Palo Verde Golf Course and the Aguila Golf Course are nearby as well. Nearby Casa Grande Ruins National Monument provides a different sort of tourist attraction. The month of June, when day temperatures hover in the 100s, is the driest month of the year in this area, while August is when the rains fall the heaviest.

The Arizonian Travel Trailer Resort is about 30 minutes from Phoenix. It has 300 unpaved sites, all with gravel. There are no side-by-side hookups, but there is room for slide-outs. Sites have patios but no tents are allowed. Maximum site length is 50 feet. A heated pool, spa and shuffleboard are available. This resort has many planned activities, but it has some restrictions on pets. It has a tennis court and a recreation field, and a golf course is nearby. You must be 55 or older to stay in this park.
