Massanutten, Virginia is a community built around the Massanutten Ski Resort, located in Rockingham County's Shenandoah Valley. Virginia's Department of Game and Inland Fisheries owns this 36-acre reservoir, known for birdwatching, especially during migration and in the winter, and says, "the rich diversity of resident birds makes a visit worthwhile any time of year.
