  1. Caeser Creek Lake

    • Caeser Creek Lake spans 2,830 acres, assists in flood reduction in the area and offers numerous recreational opportunities. Located within Caeser Creek State Park in southwest Ohio, Caeser Creek Lake offers water-lovers an opportunity to enjoy boating, fishing and swimming. For visitors hoping to keep their feet dry, the park offers 45 miles of trails to explore, horseback riding and mountain biking. The area also offers a unique opportunity for visitors to go fossil hunting.

      The lake and park are managed with the cooperation of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. With over 283 electric campground sites and cabins, Caeser Creek State Park can meet the needs of those visiting for the day, the weekend or longer. Cabins include a bathroom, shower, refrigerator and stove.

    East Fork Lake

    • Also known as William H. Harsha Lake, East Fork Lake offers visitors a convenient camping and recreational location just east of Cincinnati, Ohio. East Fork Lake State Park is one of southwest Ohio's largest recreational areas. East Fork Lake encompasses 2,160 acres and provides six boat launch ramps. Fishermen can enjoy catching small-mouth bass, crappie and bluegill with an appropriate fishing license, while sun-bathers can enjoy swimming and lounging on the beach. Activities available around the lake include horseback riding, hiking a 32-mile trail that circles the park and biking.

      East Fork State Park provides visitors with 384 camping sites with electric, including five with RV hookups, and cabins for overnight accommodations. Cabins include all the amenities one would expect to find in a traditional RV. Pets are permitted in designated areas of the park.

    Lake Erie Islands State Park

    • For a vacation with a varied selection of activities and attractions, consider Lake Erie Islands State Park. Situated on Lake Erie, Lake Erie Islands State Park encompasses five island retreats and state parks. These include Catawba, Kelleys, Middle Bass, South Bass and Oak Point. Kayaking, boating, swimming and fishing are just a few of the recreational opportunities that exist on all the islands of Lake Erie State Park. For visitors looking for other activities, the islands of Kelleys, Middle Bass and South Bass offer local winery tours, unique boutiques, souvenir shops and restaurants.

      Find overnight accommodations on Kelleys, Middle Bass and South Bass Islands. These include campgrounds, bed and breakfasts and traditional hotel options. The other two islands of the park, Catawba and Oak Point, are day use only. The islands of Lake Erie are accessible only by plane or boat.
