You begin your float down Root River in downtown Lanesboro. Pass through Mystery Caverns and get tossed over small rapids. There are two campgrounds in the area that offer tubing. Eagle Cliff Campground offers sites for tent or RV camping. There is also a five-room motel on site.The park rents tubes and offers shuttle service for float trips. The Old Barn Resort & Rivers' Bend Golf Course provides 170 available tent or RV sites. You can rent tubes for a Lanesboro Root River tubing experience. Or you may simply choose to rent a tube on site and float lazily along the South Branch of the Root River which runs through the property.
