Canal Park, Minnesota Campgrounds

No more than 25 minutes from Canal Park, a tourist and recreation district in Duluth, Minnesota, you'll will find several campgrounds.     • Indian Point Campground offers 70 spacious campsites for tent or RV campers. All sites have a picnic table and fire ring and RV campers can choose between full- or partial-hookup sites. The campground has bathroom and shower facilities, free wireless Internet access and access to the St. Louis River. Rent a canoe or kayak for use on the river or rent a bike for use on the bike trail. Additionally, you can walk or jog in the campground's hiking trail.     Spirit Mountain Campground

    • Open from May to September, Spirit Mountain Campground has walk-in tent sites as well as 73 campsites with firepits, picnic tables, water and electric or electric-only sites. Facilities and amenities include two 24-hour shower buildings; a dump station; and access to water, hiking and biking trails. Take a six-minute ride on the "Timber Twister" Alpine Coaster, which is located directly across from the campground. Nightly, weekly, monthly and group rates are available.

    Buffalo Valley RV Park & Campground

    • Buffalo Valley RV Park & Campground is open year-round and offers tent and water and electric hookup sites. In the park, you'll find firepits; firewood, beer and ice sales; a pavilion; a shower room; restrooms; outdoor toilets and sewers; and a dump station. Enoy the day hiking and biking on miles of trails, playing a game of softball in one of three fenced softball fields, or challenging friends to a game of horseshoes or volleyball. The pet-friendly park offers daily and monthly rates.

    Fond du Lac Campground

    • At Fond du Lac Campground, you'll find tent and RV sites with water and electric hookups or full hookups. The campground's facilities and amenities include hot showers, flush toilets, docks, boat tie-ups, firewood sales, a dump station, and tables and fire rings. Activities in the pet-friendly park include fishing from the pier and hiking and biking on trails. Daily, weekly and monthly rates are available.
