Drive-through animal parks have become popular. In a drive-through park, wild animals roam freely in natural settings while you navigate the park at your own pace. These parks can be found in East Texas.
Grapeland Drive-Thru Safari is located in Grapeland, Texas on North U.S. 287. You can pick up animal feed at the front gate to feed the animals as you drive through the park. This will entice the animals to come closer to your car.
Grapeland has approximately 59 acres of land with nearly 200 animals. The park features a variety of animals, including buffalo, kangaroos, camels and axis deer. You can also tour the park via a barrel train.
