When you visit East Tawas City Park for camping in the summer, you have an array of activity sites at your fingertips including playgrounds, picnic areas, horseshoe pits, fishing, and swimming. The RV park has 174 campsites with full hookups and practices a first-come, first-served filling procedure, so arrive earlier with an RV no longer than 37 feet to begin your camping adventure.

Tawas Point State Park, settled on a peninsula in Lake Huron known as Tawas Point, has 193 RV campsites with electrical hookups. Often referred to as "the Cape Cod of the Midwest," Tawas Point offers numerous outdoor activities. You can hike around the state park’s 183 acres while watching the wildlife on one of the designated trails and even bring along your metal detector. Tawas Point State Park also has many family-friendly activities such as beaches, playgrounds, and fishing areas.

Tawas RV Park is approximately a mile and a half from East Tawas City. The campgrounds is situated a couple of miles inward from Lake Huron and features 51 primitive campsites with sewer hookups. You can enjoy the park's 40 acres of walking trails. The camping season at this park runs from mid-April to mid-November.

Browns Landing, an RV campground also in Tawas City, is another campsite located on the beach of Lake Huron. The camping season runs from May to October and during this time you will have access to water and electric hookups and an array of boat charters with fishing or scenic rides to Charity Isle. When you are not enjoying your personal campsite or out on one of the charters, you can fish and swim along the 350 feet of Lake Huron shoreline.
