What is State gem?

The State Gem project is an attempt to produce a modern replacement for XSLT. It is still early in the development cycle and is thus subject to drastic changes at any time prior to a version 1.0 release.

Although the syntax of State Gem can and likely will change drastically, the major tenets of the language will not.

1. State Gem aims to be as concise and easy to read as possible. No verbosity will be tolerated.

2. State Gem aims to be as easy to write as possible. No obscure techniques will be tolerated.

3. State Gem aims to be as reliable and easy to debug as possible. No undefined behavior and as few special cases as possible.
