This historic airline, in business since 1929, still offers a daily flight from Cancun to Havana. The flight can vary between 2:15 p.m. and 2:37 p.m., so it is recommended that you call Cubana the day before your scheduled flight to verify the time and that the flight will be made, once you have a reservation. As with Aeromexico, seats can be sold to those on standby if you haven't checked in an hour prior to the flight.

Currently in bankruptcy, the future of Mexico's national airline, in business since 1921, is in question. Also offering a daily flight to Cuba, flights left Cancun in the early afternoon, arriving approximately two hours and 40 minutes later in Havana. Bankruptcy restructuring is being pursued as of October 2010, allowing the company to return to business down the road. Once flights resume, this will offer travelers a third option of travel to Cuba.
