How to Use Airline Vouchers

An airline voucher is essentially a flight coupon valued at a certain currency amount. You can use the voucher to help pay for the cost of a new flight. Airlines usually issue vouchers specific to their company rather than as a generic coupon to be used on any airline. Airline companies will often offer you a voucher when something goes awry with your trip, such as an overbooked or cancelled flight or if your luggage is lost.
