In order to redeem your voucher, you must have a general idea of where and when you want to go. Check and make sure the airline that issued you a voucher flies to the destination you have chosen, and verify that there are no blackout dates or scheduling conditions written on the voucher.
Call the airline reservation number. Airlines have different regulations in place for redeeming vouchers, while usually you can instantly apply them to a reservation you make online on their official website, sometimes you might have to call their reservations number and make the reservation via phone if you are using a travel voucher. If the method for redeeming your voucher is no clearly written on the voucher itself, it is best to call the airline's information number to know the exact procedure they require for you to be able to redeem your voucher: via phone, email, and rarely, in person at your local airline reservations office.
Provide your payment information, and your voucher information. If you reserve a flight online at the airline´s official website, or call their reservations service, you will be prompted to provide them with your credit card number and voucher information to finalize your booking and cash in your voucher. Once this is done, your reservation will be finalized and your trip confirmed.
Obtain your ticket. If you reserved online, check your email to obtain your booking confirmation and ticket information. If you booked by phone, your ticket might be sent to you via email or via regular mail, depending on the airline´s policies. If you booked your ticket in person at the airline´s local office, you will receive the ticket in person.
