Thai Airways Baggage Limits

The baggage limits on Thai Airways' flights depend on whether you are flying to or from the United States and Canada, or to or from the rest of the world.
  1. U.S. and Canada

    • Baggage restrictions for flights to and from the U.S. and Canada are based on the number of bags, dimensions, and weight. If you are travelling Royal First, or Silk Class, you are allowed: two pieces of checked in luggage not exceeding 62 inches in overall length. Each bag can weigh a maximum of 70 lbs.

If you are travelling in premium economy, or economy class, you may take two bags not exceeding 50 lbs. each. Infants under 2 years old can have one checked-in bag, with a maximum weight of 50 lbs, but not exceeding 45 inches.

    Rest of the World

    • Flights to and from the rest of the world are not subject to size restrictions. The same weight and quantity restrictions apply across the classes.

    Carry-on

    • Carry-on hand luggage must weigh no more than 15 lbs., with dimensions no larger than 22-by-18-by-10 inches, on all routes. You may also take one personal item like a laptop or camera, not exceeding 3.3 lbs.
