You can earn air miles if you join an airline's frequent-flyer program. Some credit cards also allow users to earn air miles based on the amount of money they spend with their cards. If you are earning air miles, you need to be able to keep track of how many points you have. You can do this at any time a few different ways.
Go to the Web site for your air-miles account you want to check. (see Resources 1 and 2)
Log into your air-miles account with your user name and password. If you have forgotten your password, click on the forgotten-password link to get a reminder and reset the password sent to your email address.
Call the customer-service number for your airline and ask for the balance of your air-miles account. Airline Contact Information is a Web site (see Resources 3) that has contact information for all airlines.
Create a free account at Points.com and enter all your frequent-flier account numbers. Points.com is a Web site where you can manage all of your points-earning accounts in one place. Log into the account at any time to view the balances of all of your accounts.
