Ticket transfers can be completed through JetBlue's website. Select "Manage My Flight" and direct your browser to the "Cancel My Reservation" tab. Travelers can also make changes over the telephone by contacting JetBlue.
Cancel your current reservation and choose to either pay the $100 per person cancellation fee, or have the cancellation fee deducted from the credit that will be given for the initial price of the flight.
Set up a JetBlue Travel Bank Account online, over the phone or via the JetBlue website as part of your JetBlue traveler information. Select a user name and password that will be easy for you to remember, as the credit given for the cancellation of the initial ticket will be stored in this account.
Book a new reservation under the name of the new passenger. Tickets may be booked for the same flight as the original ticket was issued for, or a different flight within one year of the original travel date.
Use the credit issued to your JetBlue Travel Bank Account to pay for the new reservation. If the new reservation price is more than the credit amount issued by JetBlue, use a credit card to cover the difference in price.
