How to Park at the St. Louis Airport

Where to park at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport depends on the purpose of your visit. Whether you are picking up or dropping off passengers, or if you are traveling on a flight, there are several parking options to chose from. Both short-term and long-term parking is available, as well as designated parking areas for drivers picking up passengers.

Instructions

  1. If Picking Up Passengers

    • 1

Drive to the Cell Phone Lot. St. Louis Airport includes a free waiting zone for drivers who are picking up passengers. As you approach the airport, follow signs directing you to the location of the lot, which is 1/2 mile east of Cypress Road on Lambert International Boulevard.

    • 2

Remain in your vehicle until your party informs you that they have arrived. A display board at the parking lot will inform you when your party's flight has arrived. It is recommended that you only proceed to the terminal after your party calls to inform you that they have cleared the baggage claim and are waiting for you at the designated passenger pick-up area.

    • 3

Drive to the arrivals curbs at either Terminal 1 or 2 to pick up your party. Passenger pick-up areas are only available for active loading. Traffic officers may direct you to leave if your party is not there when you arrive.

If You Are Flying From St. Louis Airport or Dropping Off Passengers

    • 4

Determine how long you need to stay at the airport. Short-term and long-term parking are available at the airport. You can also drop off your party at designated passenger drop-off areas outside the terminal buildings, or you can use one of the parking lots if you plan to stay at the terminal for an extended period of time.

    • 5

Drive to the Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 parking garage if you are dropping off passengers. If you wish to spend time with your party in the terminal, hourly rates are available at these parking garages. Daily rates are also available. These short-term parking areas are located in front of the terminals.

    • 6

Drive to Terminal 1 to access Lot A. If you are traveling on a flight and want to park close to the airport, use Lot A. You can walk to Terminal 1 or take a shuttle to Terminal 2 from Lot A, which only offers daily rates. If parking spots are not available, drivers will be permitted to use the Terminal 1 parking garage.

    • 7

Drive to lots B, C and D from Interstate 70 if you require long-term parking and would like the most affordable rates. Signs along Interstate 70 will direct you to each parking area. All lots offer uncovered parking at daily rates. Lot C also provides covered parking, as well as shuttle pick-up service right from where you park your vehicle in the lot.

    • 8

Collect your ticket and take a shuttle to your terminal. You will be required to pay for your parking when you return to pick-up your vehicle. Shuttle buses to both terminals are available from Lot B, C and D.
