Airport Near Townsend, Tennessee

Townsend, Tennessee, is one of the gateways to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Chartered in 1921, the city was founded by members of the Little River Railroad and Lumber Company. A small number of airports serve eastern Tennessee, where Townsend is located. These airports provide important connections to several cities in the U.S. on major airlines.
