Navigate your browser to the Hotwire website (see link in References section).
Click "Cars" from the "Hotwire Hot Rate Locater" menu.
Click the option to select whether you want a round-trip car rental, meaning that you will pick up and drop off the car at the same location, or a one-way car rental, which means that you will return the car to a different location.
Type your location in the text box, and select your pick-up and drop-off dates using the calendar icon located next to the text boxes. Select a pick-up and drop-off time from the drop-down menus.
Click "Find a Car." A list of cars will appear, along with relevant details, such as type and cargo capacity. the site will not display the name of the rental agency.
Click the "Continue" button next to the icon representing the car you want to rent. Click "Continue" again to proceed to the reservation page. Enter your personal information and payment details to confirm your rental car reservation. The name of the car rental agency will appear immediately after you complete the booking process.
