How to Visit Indiana's RV Hall of Fame

Any motor home enthusiast should stop in Elkhart, Indiana, home of the RV/MH Hall of Fame. With a library, museum, honoree gallery and vendor's booths, the RV/MH Hall of Fame makes Elkhart the RV capital of the world. Elkhart is also home to RV manufacturers. In fact, 50% of RV's come out of Elkhart. Read on to learn more.

  1. Getting There

      Take Exit 96 south off the Indiana Toll Road (I-80/I-90) to Country Road 17.

      Drive past the east bound Toll Road entrance and turn left on Executive Parkway.

      Go to the parking lot of the RV/MH Hall of Fame.

      Enter through the north side of the building.

    What To See

      Visit the RV/MH library, where thousands of periodicals are stored. It is the only library solely dedicated to RVing.

      Check out the gallery of members inducted into the RV/MH Hall of Fame.

      Look at the extensive collection of vintage RV's on display in Founders Hall. The earliest unit is from 1913, and the latest dates from 1970.

      Visit the GoRving Hall, where new RV models are displayed. Check out the video and examples of pop-up trailers, fifth-wheels, Class C and Class A RVs.

      Tour the Exhibitions and check out the vendors booths that display their various products, as well as their company's history.
