Measure the car's height, ground clearance, width and length. Check that your car falls under the maximum dimensions allowed by French Motorail. Make sure that your car is clean and in good order. Remove any valuables from the car before travel. Take out special traveler's insurance to protect your car during travel. Make sure you have all of the travel documents you will need on your journey.
Have your vehicle at the loading station well in advance of the train's departure time. Board the train for passengers after you see your car has been loaded.
Check your car for any damage immediately upon reaching your destination. Report any damage before leaving the French Motorail terminal.
