Get your car approved by the Strassenverkehrsamt (The Swiss DMV). The Strassenverkehrsamt may approve your car if the exact model is sold in Switzerland or if the car has certain specifications that other Euro cars have such as km/h listed on the speedometer and a passing grade for the Switzerland smog test.
Provide the title of the car to U.S. Customs. The U.S. Customs will verify that your car is owned by you and not someone else so you will need to provide them with a title. Special arrangements may need to be made with the Strassenverkehrsamt or U.S. Customs if your car is still being paid off.
