The Professional Association of Innkeepers International (PAII) is a networking pool that helps bed-and-breakfast owners access information to keep them afloat during in- and off-season booking times. Its goal is to enhance the industry through individualized site development at more than 3,000 locations. The association provides a monthly, weekly and quarterly newsletter with information on issues such as selling, financing, marketing and operating an inn. The newsletters also address guest safety, staff development and legal issues. The association provides several workshops, industry trade shows and advice from famous experts in the industry.
The African American Association of International Innkeepers (AAAII) provides advertising space for African American inn owners. The association features several inns catering to guests who desire pampering retreats, serene locations or even Royal vacations or holidays. The AAAII also provides inn owners with information to help improve their accommodations for travelers who want romantic, luxurious or business-executive hospitality. Through the network, members from such places as Ghana, Ontario and the United States can receive support and resources.
The Bed & Breakfasts International Network provides advertising space for luxury inns from many parts of the globe. It features inns catering to guests seeking a recreational location with such offerings as mountain walking, fishing port activities and tranquil "quiet-green" settings. The network encourages networking between inn owners that provide both business and leisure accommodations. Inns that are featured in the Bed & Breakfasts International Network include luxury apartments, traditional inns and even castles with accommodations. The network features locations such as Florida, Italy and Brazil.
Founded in 1960, the Select Registry association provides a unique combination of innkeeper resources focusing on the personality and tastes of the owners. Select Registry also focuses on quality assurance for its network of almost 400 owners. Through Select Registry, owners improve travelers' experiences by addressing issues on the detailed "point system" each inn's inspectors provide. Membership with Select Registry is extremely selective, with more than 20,000 inns in the United States and Canada. Once Select Registry applicants pass inspection, they are admitted in the registry and then benefit from the hallmark of quality associated with it. The registry also creates an identity for each inn highlighting its best attributes, such as hospitality, personalization and service-oriented attention.
