    • Saddle Mountain RV Park on Carmel's Schulte Road hosts both RV and tent camping. RV sites feature water hookups, 30 amps of electricity, sewage and cable television for RVs up to 40 feet long. Onsite amenities and attractions include a heated swimming pool (available May through September), wireless high-speed Internet, hiking, basketball, arcade games, horseshoes and a playground. Tent campsites offer clear views of the night sky. In addition to local hiking, sailing, shopping and biking opportunities, this resort is within ten miles of numerous parks, golf courses and beaches, including the popular golf course at Pebble Beach. Rates vary per season and include discounted group rates. Saddle Mountain prefers reservations, which can be made over the phone.

    Carmel by the River RV Park

    • Also on Schulte Road, Carmel by the River RV Park is a luxury-oriented RV-only campground on the shores of the Carmel River. Carmel by the River RV campsites feature water and sewage hookups, 30 or 50 amp electricity options, cable television channels and wireless Internet availability. On site, the park hosts a recreation room, lounge area, arcade games, air hockey, billiards, ping pong tables, a general store, bathrooms, showers and a large club room. This pet-friendly campground is within ten miles of such attractions as downtown Carmel, Carmel Beach, Pebble Beach and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.     Veteran's Memorial Park

    • Situated on the Monterey Peninsula, the Veteran's Memorial Park in Monterey is just 2.8 miles north of Carmel. This 50-acre park hosts 40 campsites, all of which accommodate tents and 30 of which accommodate trailers up to 21 feet long. Campsite features include fire pits, barbeque picnic areas, hiking and walking trails, play equipment, a turf playfield and a large lawn area. Onsite restrooms and faucets provide water and showering options. Up to eight people per campsite may stay for up to three days on a first-come-first-serve basis. Veteran's Memorial park charges various nominal fees for campsites.
