Spruce Grove Resort

• The Spruce Grove Resort, within a few minutes of the hot springs in Fairmont and along the banks of the Columbia River, has 180 camping sites that can accommodate RVs and tents. The sites have both full and partial hook-ups with either 15- or 30-amp electric and offer easy access to showers, restrooms with flush toilets and a laundry facility. Features on the property include a pool that is open during the warmer months, a playground for children, a volleyball court and hiking trails. The resort also has ice and firewood for sale, fire pits and wireless Internet. The resort is open throughout the year and has winter camping and ski packages available.

Fairmont Hot Springs RV Resort

• A short walk away from the mineral hot pools, the Fairmont Hot Springs RV Resort does not allow tent camping, but does have more than 300 RV sites. Of those sites, 65 are pull-throughs, more than 200 have either 15-, 30- or 50-amp electric hookups, while the remainder have no hook-ups at all. Amenities include cable TV, high-speed Internet access, a store that sells RV supplies and a laundry facility. Facilities include a swimming pool, miniature golf, hiking trails, fishing and boating on the nearby Columbia River. Bikes are available for rent. The resort is open from mid-April to mid-October. The campground is part of a resort that has multiple restaurants, a pool and three golf courses.

Hoodoo Mountain Resort

• The Hoodoo Mountain Resort, open from May 1 until the second weekend of October, offers cabins or campsites that can accommodate tents or RVs. The sites are full hook-ups with 30-amp electric and have picnic tables and fire pits. The property includes a gas station, a laundry facility, a grocery store, restrooms, showers, a playground for children, a volleyball court, a horseshoes pit and a miniature golf course. White-water rafting is available at the nearby Columbia River along with fishing at Columbia Lake. Propane can be purchased at the resort. The resort is next door to the Hoodoo Grill, which offers family dining both inside and on a patio.
