Hunt's Lodge Motorcycle Campground

• The Hunt's Lodge Motorcycle Campground in Tellico Plains is situated in the foothills of the Cherokee National Forest. The campground has room to park tow vehicles and trailers. Bikers have the option of staying on camping sites or in five cabins that sleep up to 15. The two-acre property includes restrooms, showers, free wireless Internet connections, laundry facilities, ice machines, paved driveways, a picnic pavilion with a fire pit, and an on-site gas grill. Styrofoam coolers are available upon request. Drinking water is available within walking distance of the primitive camping sites. The cabins do not have bathrooms, but do have heating, air conditioning, and linens. The campground advertises itself as built by riders and made for riders.

Cherohala Motorcycle Resort

• The Cherohala Motorcycle Resort in Tellico Plains has both cabins and sites for tents. The cabins can sleep up to two people and come with linens and towels. Tent camping is available along a creek or on a lawn. The resort has a store with motorcycle and camping gear, insignia wear, maps, coffee, and breakfast items. • The Punkin Center Motorcycle Resort is in Eastern Tennessee in the town of Maryville, which is 16 miles directly south of the city of Knoxville. Bikers can choose between staying on RV sites with water, sewer, and electric connections; in tent sites; or in full-service cabins, sleeping cabins, and bunk houses. The resort sponsors motorcycle events and offers live musical entertainment. Cold beer, water pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, deep fried mushrooms, potato wedges, hot wings, and other items are sold from a porch overlooking the campground. The Punkin Center Market sells items such as leather, T-shirts, gas, and snacks. Reservations are accepted.
