Raccoon Valley in Heiskell is an approximate 30-minute drive northwest of Knoxville and is nestled in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains. Amenities at the park include an outdoor swimming pool, clubhouse with a library and kitchen area, guest laundromat, dump station and facilities for showers and restrooms. The campground has 76 RV parking spots with water and electric hook-ups. Raccoon Valley also provides a network of hiking trails throughout the campground's property.

The Cherokee Trails Campground is less than five minutes from the southern fork of South Holston Lake in Northeast Tennessee. The resort offers boat rentals for trout fishing.
