Next to Lookout Mountain Flight Park at the foot of Lookout Mountain, Cloudbase RV Park offers full hookups for RVs with 200 amps of power, picnic tables, fire rings, and high-speed Internet access. Private laundry and storage is available on each site. Each site has a panoramic view of Lookout Mountain. Monthly rates are $295 plus electricity. Visitors are encouraged to call for other rates. The hang gliding launch is about 10 minutes from Cloudbase, and Chattanooga, Tennesee, is about 12 miles away.

Offering RV sites, tent sites, cabins and lodges, Lookout Mountain KOA/Chattanooga West is just west of Lookout Mountain and about 15 minutes from Chattanooga. This campground includes family activities including swimming, disc golf, hiking trails, group volleyball games, a jumping pillow, outdoor bowling and a pet playground and obstacle course. Cabins and lodges include bathroom facilities, air conditioning and cable television. One-hour horseback trail rides on Fridays and Saturdays (in season) also are available.
