You can't get any closer to Graceland than the Graceland RV Park-Campground, right down the road from the mansion. The Graceland RV Park-Campground has 72 pull-through RV sites with water and electric hookups. Seventeen single-room cabins are also available and each is furnished with two bunk beds and a double bed. There is also an area for tents. There is a large park area, swimming pool, playground and small grocery store and souvenir shop on site.

Across the state border in Arkansas, just 15 miles from Memphis, is the Memphis KOA campground. The Memphis KOA has 55 RV sites with electric hookups, 21 RV sites with water and electric hookups, 2 cabins and an area for tents. The campground offers a wide variety of amenities and services, including complimentary Internet, a swimming pool, dog park, game room, playground and horseshoe pits. The campground also hosts several regular events for campers, including T-shirt tie-dying and an ice cream social.

If you're looking to be immersed in a preserved natural setting, head 15 miles north of Memphis to the Meeman Shelby Forest State Park. Nestled on the banks of the Mississippi River, the state park has nearly 50 campsites -- all with a grill, a picnic table and electrical and water hookups. Two nearby lakes provide opportunities for boating and fishing and a vast network of trails are available for hiking.
