Take the family to a theme park and sleep under the stars.Formerly known as Six Flags Darien Lake, this pet-friendly park resort offers various accommodations for guests, including over 600 campsites for tents and RVs. Water and electric are included in hookups, and restrooms and showers are available. Distance to the theme park varies from a five- to 15-minute walk. It is close to a laundry, gift shop, cafe and general store. Darien Lake Resort includes a water park, theme park with nightly laser shows, and regularly scheduled rock concerts. This state park features 158 campsites, all with electricity available and heated restrooms with showers. Camping is permitted from mid-May until mid-October. Besides a 12-acre fishing lake, the park include playgrounds, trails for hikers and horseback riding, and picnic areas. In winter, go cross-country skiing, snowmobiling or ice-skating in the outdoor skating rink. Pets are allowed with proof of rabies vaccination.

For RV campers, this resort offers full water and sewer hookups, with 50 amp electric sites. Tent camping sites are also available, with restrooms, showers and laundry. The resort is open from May 1 to October 31. Amenities include swimming pool, playground, basketball and volleyball court, camp store, game room and clubhouse. Non-aggressive dogs with proof of vaccinations are permitted. It is close to Darien Lake Resort, Batavia Downs racetrack, and the Genesee Country Village and Museum. It provides easy access for day trips to Niagara Falls, Buffalo or Rochester.
