Cachuma Lake Recreation Area offers tent, trailer and RV camping sites. Each of more than 400 campsites has a picnic table, a fire ring and showers, restrooms and water nearby. Cabins, trailers and yurts may also be rented and a group camping area for 32 to 120 people is available. Amenities include a general store, gas station, coin laundry, a snack bar and grill in the marina, and playgrounds. Visitors can go on a lake cruise, visit the nature center, enjoy fishing and hike on five trails. During the summer, swim in the pool, play video games and miniature golf, and eat in the snack bar in The Family Fun Center. Note that swimming, water-skiing, canoes, kayaks, windsurfing or any other body contact with the water in Cachuma Lake is prohibited because it is a domestic water supply. Single-family campsites are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Campland on the Bay is a pet-friendly park with campsites that range from primitive sites to RV sites with full hookups. Amenities in the campground are a swimming pool, a marina with 124 slips, bathrooms and showers, a game room, a restaurant, a market, laundry facilities, storage facilities and wireless Internet service. Watercraft and bicycle rentals are also available and activities include volleyball, horseshoes, watching movies, dancing and attending concerts. Winter and summer rates are available based on daily or weekly fees. Fees are based on the type of site including one to four people. An additional fee is charged for the fifth person.

Rancho Jurupa Park is located along the Santa Ana River. The park offers primitive camping, primitive equestrian camping group areas and RV sites with full hookups and electric service. Amenities include a 200-acre recreation and fishing area as well as group day-use facilities. Activities include fishing in the three-acre lake, picnicking, biking and horseback riding. All facilities including camping areas are available by reservation or on a first-come, first-served basis.
