Quail Springs RV Park is located in east Uyalde and has 16 campsites available for nightly rental. The campsite sits on a small lake and is surrounded by trees. Each campsite has water and 50 amp electric hookups, a barbecue pit, and a picnic table. The park is also Wi-Fi equipped. Pets are welcome and there is a small trail at the camp for walking. The site also has several clean restrooms and showers.

Garner State Park is one of the most popular sites for overnight camping in Texas. Located 25 miles outside of Uvalde on 1,500 acres, the park has 200 campsites available for nightly rental, as well as several small cabins and bunkhouses. The park is a popular spot for group functions and events, as the park has six outdoor recreation halls, that allow night time use as well as a performance and concessions area. Garner State Park is also located on a river and has swimming, fishing, and boating accessibility.

Andy's on River Road is a large, private campground 20 miles outside of Uvalde with a number of cabins, suites and RV sites available for nightly and extended rental. The campground caters to large group functions and events, but allows small groups and single campgrounds as well. There is an on-site store for general needs, gift shop, and an on-site restaurant open for three meals a day. For recreation, kayaking and tubing rentals are available.
