Camping in Hocking Hills

Hocking Hills is a pristine natural wilderness area in the state of Ohio. It has a variety of places to explore, such as Hocking Hills state park with the ash cave complex, cedar falls and the devil's bathtub. A number of great family activities are available, including horseback riding, hiking, canoeing and mountain biking. Hocking Hills also has several nice places to camp so that you can get the most out of your nature experience.

  1. Hocking Hills Canoe Livery

    • The Hocking Hills Canoe Livery brings the best of the Hocking Hills area to life. Primitive campsites give you out front access to the Hocking River where you can swim and fish the day away. You can also take out a canoe on your own or go for a guided float. If you don't care for immediate river access, the livery also has grass-padded sites up away from the river and RV camping with electrical hook-ups. There's a shower house and a family fun center for the kids where you can ride go-carts, play mini-golf or swing the clubs at the driving range.
