Things You'll Need

  • 8 3-way, 1/2-inch connector
  • 9 1-foot pieces PVC or ABS pipe
  • 5 5-foot pieces PVC or ABS pipe
  • Garden hose with spray nozzle
  • Bucket
  • Drill
  • 1 4 by 6 foot tarp
  • Plastic
  • Tie backs or tie downs

Instructions

    • 1

Connect four 3-way connectors and four 1-foot pipe pieces together to make a square.

    • 2

Repeat with the remaining pieces to make the top and the base.

    • 3

Insert the 5-foot pieces to create the sides of the shower. This creates the basic frame of the shower.

    • 4

Wrap the tarp around the frame. Use the tie backs or tie downs to attach the tarp to the frame.

    • 5

Hang a garden hose from a low limb. If you do not mind a cold shower, this is fine. If you want a warm shower, drill holes in the bottom of a bucket and place a piece of plastic cut to the size of the bucket's bottom in the bucket. Hang the bucket from a low limb. Heat the water and then pour it into the bucket. Remove the plastic in the bottom to start the shower.
