Hotels near Lake Carmi, Vermont

Lake Carmi is the fourth largest natural lake entirely within Vermont. It is the site of a state park of the same name and is home to wetland forests and the third largest peat bog in Vermont. Other than two cabins and campsites in the state park, there are no accommodation options located at Lake Carmi. Several hotels, however, are located within a short drive of Lake Carmi in the nearby towns of Swanton and St. Albans.

  1. Swanton Motel

    • Originally a Native American settlement, the town of Swanton is located near the shores of Lake Champlain and the Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge. Only a half hour west of Lake Carmi is the family-run Swanton Motel. The AAA, 2-diamond property features spacious ground-floor rooms and an outdoor pool and patio.
