Toccoa, Georgia can be difficult to track down due to its shared name with the Toccoa River; but have no fear, Toccoa has plenty of cabins to rent along its biggest lake. For a cabin a little more "low key," the Lost Moose Lodge rents out a loft converted farm house complete with a lake view and screened in porch. Guests can stroll the beach, enjoy the passing deer, or meander on the property's walking trails. Eight miles outside of Toccoa, one and a half miles to the boat launch and 15 miles to the Golf Course, visitors have many ways to fill their days.
The cabin has two bedrooms, one loft and one bath, sleeping six to seven comfortably. The cupboards are full of games, puzzles, and books. Enjoy the wood burning stove or claw foot tub. Cell phones do work and there is a Wi-Fi connection. Open year-round as a summer lake house or cozy winter retreat.

A medium-sized cabin, Blue Canoe Lake House, is the ideal escape for those with a boat. Lake Hartwell allows waterskiing or you can just enjoy a day cruising around on your boat with a fishing pole. With large picnic tables and a gazebo, this cabin is a great summer gathering place.
The cabin sleeps up to 16, with three baths and four bedrooms. Upstairs is a large wood deck and the sunroom houses a game room for kids or the young at heart.
