Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park has six cabins available for rent, although only five are log cabins; the other is a trailer that has been converted into a cabin. The Tannehill Cabins are rustic by design. There's no TV, no Internet access, no satellite. All cabins do come equipped with a stocked kitchen, heat/air conditioning, and a fireplace. One cord of firewood a day is provided for free, while anyone wanting more will have to purchase it.

Tuscaloosa Lake cabins is a term that can encompass several different types of cabins. There are many cabins here that are often available for rent from the owners via Craigslist, classified ads, or other online services specializing in vacation rentals. Obviously the cabins from these ads are going to vary greatly in regard to quality and amenities, but cabins are consistently available, with the possible exception of weekends when the Alabama Crimson Tide are playing a home game during football season.
